Heartwarming meetup with Jose Alvarado and young fan who imitated him

12-year-old Prince Bailey, who went viral this past week after being seen on the Phillies broadcast imitating José Alvarado while pitching out of a jam against the Nationals, received an invite from the club to watch batting practice before Friday's game. Little did Prince know that the very pitcher he had imitated was going to surprise him while at the ballpark.

The heartwarming moment, as captured by Phillies photographer Mitchell Leff, gave Prince and his family the chance to meet Alvarado in person, who thanked the young fan and presented him with a signed jersey, along with a necklace he had personally made with the colors of Venezuela.

After the meetup, Prince went on to cheer on the Phils as they took on the Diamondbacks, where he was again seen on the broadcast imitating Alvarez in the 9th inning, who closed the game with a W. It certainly was a great night at the ballpark!
