Here are Tuesday's top prospect performances from the Minors

June 11th, 2025

Summer is near and with it comes some sizzling performances from the Minors' best prospects. Last year’s No. 3 overall Draft pick matched a career high at the plate. A trio of Top 100 teenagers put up big numbers at High-A -- including two who made excellent first impressions with their new teams. A 2024 second-rounder continued his dazzling pro debut on the mound north of the border while a Lone Star State prospect flirted with a cycle.

Leo De Vries, SS, Fort Wayne (SD No. 1/MLB No. 3)
De Vries snapped out of a prolonged slump with his first long ball since April 29 and drove in three runs while reaching base three times for High-A Fort Wayne. The 18-year-old came into the game batting .219 since May 1, but collected his first multihit game in two weeks. Despite his recent struggles, De Vries still sports a .793 OPS and 19 extra-base hits in 47 games. Gameday

Charlie Condon, OF/3B, Spokane (COL No. 1/MLB No. 24)
Coming off a three-hit effort in his previous appearance, Condon went one better with his second four-hit game as a pro. Last year's third overall Draft pick out of Georgia has been on a roll in June, going 14-for-30 (.467) with three extra-base hits to lift his slash line for the season to .373/.506/.522 with 20 runs scored and 15 RBIs in 28 games for High-A Spokane. Konnor Griffin, SS/OF, Greensboro (PIT No. 2/MLB No. 34)
A promotion to High-A Greensboro did nothing to slow down Griffin's sizzling first pro season. Batting in his customary leadoff spot, last year's ninth overall pick doubled twice, scored a run and drove in another in his Grasshoppers debut. Griffin exited the Single-A Florida State League as the circuit's leader in average (.338), total bases (111), hits (70), runs (49) and slugging (.536). Gameday

Moisés Ballesteros, C/1B, Iowa (CHC No. 3/MLB No. 57)
Ballesteros' monster 2025 campaign continued with his seventh homer of the year and third multhit performance in the past four games. The Venezuela native has hit safely in nine of 10, going 14-for-42 (.310) with six extra-base hits and 11 RBIs in that span. Ballesteros is slashing .337/.389/.507 with 32 RBIs in 50 games at Triple-A as well as going 3-for-16 during his first five Major League appearances last month. Gameday

Slade Caldwell, OF, Hillsboro (AZ No. 2/MLB No. 94)
The D-backs' 2024 first-round Draft pick has put together a successful pro debut in 2025, and he started off his High-A tenure with a multihit game. Caldwell singled twice, scored two runs and stole a base in his first appearance for Hillsboro after two successful months with Single-A Visalia. The 18-year-old hit .294 with a .914 OPS and led the California League with a .460 OBP thanks to 44 walks and 48 hits in 48 games. Gameday

Jonah Tong, RHP, Binghamton (NYM No. 4/MLB No. 96)
Tong wasn't unhittable this time, but he still put together another strong start for Double-A Binghamton. The 21-year-old allowed one run and struck out eight while inducing 15 whiffs on 42 swings. It was the seventh time in eight starts the reigning Eastern League Pitcher of the Month hasn't allowed more than one run, dropping his ERA at 1.99. Tong sports a 1.03 WHIP and has fanned 91 in 54 1/3 innings across 11 starts. Gameday

Brice Matthews, SS/3B, Sugar Land (HOU No. 1)
Matthews snapped out of an early June swoon in a big way. He finished a double shy of the cycle, reaching base four times, scoring four runs and adding three RBIs for Triple-A Sugar Land. The Nebraska product ended May red hot, but entered the contest just 3-for-25 in seven games this month. Despite that slow start to June, Matthews sports a .832 OPS in 50 games. Gameday

Khal Stephen, RHP, Vancouver (TOR No. 9)
